Allchem Performance has the exclusive worldwide distribution rights (with the exception of China, Korea and the USA) to the Adomine range of Ethyl Silicates manufactured in China by Nantong Chengua Chemical. The company is dedicated to the production of Ethyl Silicates and is not manufacturing them as a by product or part of another chemical process.
While other manufacturers will distill their products to remove almost all of the Chloride there will always be some part of these in the final Ethyl Silica. However Nantong has the benefit of a Chloride free product as none has been used in the process. As the presence of Chlorides in anti-corrosive coatings is undesirable we believe this makes the Adomine range especially attractive in Zinc Rich Primers.
Ethyl Silicates are meta stable materials with low shelf lives, usually of six months. The production techniques use by Nantong Chengua Chemical, avoiding the use of chlorides, has the added benefit of increasing the shelf life of Adomine Ethyl Silicates to at least twelve months under suitable storage conditions.
